I have been in the Bath Remodeling business for over 20 years. I am a fan of shower surround systems. Flexstone Products sells Bath kits for under $1000 for a 3 Panel shower kit. Easy for the do-it-yourself remodel project. The shower panels are glue up and little demolition is required.The Bath kit's look like real Travertine, Stone or Marble. The panels are very durable and last probably longer than a tile shower or bath.
